Alex Telles will return to Manchester United when the year comes to a finish.
The Brazilian played on loan for Sevilla for the entire season, and now that he’s made 38 appearances for the La Liga team, he’s on his way back to Old Trafford, where he has a contract that runs until 2024.
Turkey appears to be a possibility for him next season as Galatasaray are reportedly interested in acquiring Telles from Manchester United, according to NTV Spor.
Despite the fact that “no official steps” have yet been taken for the move, it is claimed that the Istanbul side is “following” his position.
Telles had previously played for Galatasaray; he was a member of the team from 2014 until 2016, when he left for Porto.
The 30-year-old doesn’t appear to be in Manchester United’s plans, as soon as left-back Erik ten Hag joined the team, the Red Devils sent him on loan to Sevilla and brought in Tyrell Malacia to take his place.
We therefore doubt the Red Devils will demand too much, so if Galatasaray wants to pay a price for the move, that may be an intriguing alternative for all parties.
