Arsenal Twitter is lonely right now. However, it’s not because Musk ruined the platform that consumers leave like flies. The club is taking FAR too long to announce the impending acquisitions of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, thus this is the real reason.
That’s obviously facetious of me, I mean. When a signing as significant as Rice is announced, there are usually numerous aspects to it. An agreement with the player must come first, then with the club, and lastly with lawyers. Prior to his announcement, sponsorship agreements with Rice must be resolved.
Tomorrow (Friday), Arsenal will make Jurrien Timber public.
Things should be easier with Timber because the time for his announcement has been confirmed. The small issue with his contract has been fixed. Now that all media obligations have been fulfilled, Arsenal hope to reveal Jurrien Timber tomorrow, according to Football London journalist Kaya Kaynak.
Jurrien Timber is a fantastic acquisition. He most likely won’t have the chance to play right away. However, this has nothing to do with the player’s talent and everything to do with the talent already present on the team. Instead, Timber will serve as a backup and work his way into the starting lineup naturally. He will have plenty of opportunities to do this in the preseason.
Timber is a defensive back that can play in every defensive position. He is mostly a center back but, like Ben White, he can also play as a right back. Arsenal’s tomorrow is Timber Day.
