Janusz Michallik, a former USA international, recently lauded Gabriel Martinelli in an ESPN interview.

This is how I feel about Gabby Martinelli, there’s so much flowing from him, Michallik stated in reference to the Brazilian. To me, he has a ceiling just like everyone else in the world. He carries it out.
He is, in my opinion, even more talented than Bukayo Saka when I watch him.
Martinelli has already had an effect this year, contributing an assist in last weekend’s Premier League opener for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest.
One of the top forwards in the Premier League right now is Gabriel Martinelli.
There aren’t many attackers in England right now that you would choose over Martinelli.
The 22-year-old was outstanding last season and has continued in same vein after managing to contribute to a goal in the 2-1 victory over Steve Cooper’s team at the Emirates.
Martinelli made 36 appearances in the top flight during the 2022–23 season, scoring 15 goals and dishing out five assists to help Arsenal contend for the title.
The Gunners might once again be in contention for the Premier League championship if he has another season like that.
Martinelli, a very gifted wide player who Gabriel Jesus, a teammate, referred to as a “beast,” is still young enough to improve even more. The international player from Brazil and Saka are both at Mikel Arteta’s disposal, which is truly a blessing.
They make him and Arsenal look incredibly powerful. And now that Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber have joined the team, their squad has even more talent.
The north London club won’t have the final member of that three due to the injury he sustained against Forest, but they still have enough to finish in the top four this year.
