United are facing problems in the Premier League as well as in Europe, as Erik ten Hag’s team has dropped three of their previous four games.
There have been some rumors of unhappiness in the team, with certain players allegedly at odds with Ten Hag over the way he handled Jadon Sancho.
Ten Hag, on the other hand, is still troubled by the attitudes “of at least a couple” United players.
After United’s defeat to Galatasaray, Eriksen spoke candidly about the atmosphere in the team’s locker room, saying: “It’s a big disappointment.”
“The dressing room was very quiet.” I believe we had some strong moments during the game, but ultimately, after taking the lead, we quickly gave it back, which of course made it challenging to continue playing.
“That needs to change, and it needs to change quickly.” It’s more about attentiveness and sharpness to actually maintain our form, not confidence, in my opinion.
We’ve done that in a few other games this season, so going ahead twice shouldn’t be wasted.
“I don’t think it’s confidence, I think it’s sharpness and bad decisions at bad times and a little bit of bad luck following us around right now,” the speaker said.
We have a lot of work to do, but again, it’s in the details. The opportunities they had came from our errors, and if we don’t commit them, we don’t yield as readily.
Fortunately, the competition has only begun; we have only played two games so far, and there are still more to come.
“We know that in order to advance in the opportunity for the upcoming game, we must win every game.”
