Garnacho and Pellistri share few playing time together because they are frequently only used as substitutes.
When Pellistri is included in Erik ten Hag’s lineup, he usually exits the field before the latter does. Pellistri has only started a small number of games for United.
However, they will undoubtedly be close off the pitch and spend a lot of leisure time together as South American starlets.
Millions of people play EA FC 24, the newest football game from EA Sports, during some of that downtime.
When Pellistri took jabs at Garnacho after his Ultimate Team was uploaded on X (previously Twitter), the two’s amicable rivalry was exposed to the public last weekend.
Garnacho has an amazing roster that includes football icons and current superstars like Jude Bellingham, Eusebio, Ronaldo, and him.
The starting lineup from the Argentina international’s Instagram story was shared by United fan account @TenHagBall_.
However, Pellistri, a consistent starter for Uruguay, couldn’t help but make light of Garnacho’s gaming prowess, commenting on the post with the emoticon for laughter: “And he still can’t win any games [crying].”
That was not going to happen to Garnacho, who responded to Pellistri’s taunt with a vicious jab of his own.
“I’m still 3-0 against you in games [emoji for crying laughter].” “Stop wasting money; it won’t improve you,” Garnacho shot back.
Pellistri shot back at his assaulting partner’s assertion, saying, “He is lying [shoulder shrug emoji],” to which Garnacho remained silent.
This season, the 21-year-old winger has made seven appearances for United, starting three of them and dishing out one assist.
The 19-year-old Garnacho has started four games in a row; the Premier League victories over Fulham and Luton Town were followed by losses to FC Copenhagen and Newcastle United.
When club football resumes this weekend, he will look to hold onto his starting position alongside Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund.
On Sunday night, United will visit Goodison Park to play Everton, who is currently 19th in the Premier League following a 10-point deduction.
This is the first of Ten Hag’s team’s three difficult road tests. The other two are against Newcastle United in the league and Galatasaray in a crucial Champions League match.
