During the international break, Georgian national team coach Willy Sagnol made hints about possible interest in Kvaratskhelia, 21, which fueled rumours tying him to the record champions. The Italian newspaper Il Mattino was informed by the former Bayern defender:
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia currently plays for a prestigious team in Napoli, but he is being pursued by major league teams like Real Madrid, FC Bayern, and Barcelona.
Nevertheless, Sky Germany has revealed that Der Rekordmeister are thinking about making a future offer for Kvaratskhelia, despite doubts over the veracity of Sagnol’s claim. However, they are not in talks with Napoli at the moment.
Bayern now have a winger playing at an extraordinary rate in Leroy Sané, who has nine goals and seven assists across all competitions. Additionally, the 27-year-old has developed an enticing bond with England captain Harry Kane.
This season, the two have accounted for the most goals between two players in the top five leagues in Europe. As a result, even though Sané’s contract is slated to expire in 2025, Der Rekordmeister may still be considering Kvaratskhelia as a potential replacement if the 27-year-old were to leave this summer. Sané’s deal expires in 2025.
