Borussia Dortmund looking for Marco Reus successor
Bild claims that Borussia Dortmund is starting to search for Marco Reus’s replacement in light of his uncertain future, and Nürnberg’s Can Uzun is one possibility.
Dortmund want to add a new playmaker and a player who can take Reus’ place when he retires in the summer. Dortmund, though, will have competition for Uzun from a number of teams as the 18-year-old has already piqued the interest of Bayern Munich, Brighton, Galatasaray, and Sevilla.
Uzun’s playing time is crucial to his future, although it might not be certain at these teams. He will probably play more at Eintracht Frankfurt, who have also expressed interest, and continue to play with his pal Nathanial Brown, who is expected to join the club.
Uzun has made 17 appearances for Nürnberg in his first full season, scoring nine goals and providing two assists. This season will undoubtedly be his final one as a member of the Franconia club.
