Medical Milestone: Borussia Dortmund Anticipates Jadon Sancho’s Return Checkup
Jadon Sancho has been granted the all-clear to head to Borussia Dortmund for his medical before wrapping off his six-month loan from Manchester United, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
After it seemed that the move had reached a dead end last week, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United both made progress in their negotiations. According to reports, Sancho was supposed to arrive at Dortmund’s training camp in Marbella on Friday, but talks broke down at that point.
However, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United have now come to a deal for a six-month loan without the option to buy. A portion of Sancho’s pay will also be covered by BVB, for a reported total package worth €4 million.
It’s a win-win situation for all sides if Sancho can rediscover his Dortmund form. Sancho will not be involved with Manchester United for as long as Erik ten Hag is the head coach at Old Trafford, as he has already indicated. Prior to being shunned by the team, Sancho played in the Red Devils’ first three Premier League games this season.
