Max Verstappen is unaffected by F1 records and statistics, even after making a calculated attempt to lead a record 1,000 laps in a single season in Abu Dhabi.
The Dutch driver has shown an interest in investigating other categories, including as GT racing, and has frequently considered endeavors outside of Formula One.
When asked if he would beat the records set by Lewis Hamilton and Schumacher, Verstappen remains reticent, despite rumors that he may win eight world titles by the time his Red Bull contract expires in 2028.
Max told The Times, “If it happens, it happens. I’ve achieved what I wanted to.”
“However, staying in a fantastic car for an extended amount of time requires luck. You rely a great deal on the resources at your disposal.
“After I took home my first title, I told myself that everything else was just a bonus since, in all honesty, I’ve accomplished everything I set out to do in Formula One.
“Winning a championship, standing on the podium, and getting pole position. It was my dream to accomplish these types of things in Formula 1. I’m just going to be aiming to stay at the top from now on.
