DWIGHT YORKE SAYS ARSENAL DOESN’T PASS THE BALL TO A £45M STAR
There have been rumors that Arsenal would have won the English title last season if they had that vicious number nine in the starting lineup, and they are still there this year.
As Arsenal’s main striker, Gabriel Jesus must feel more pressure from the way people talk about him.
However, Dwight Yorke, the Manchester United Treble champion, praised the Brazil star by declaring, “I am a fan of Jesus,” but he also told Premier League Productions that he wants his colleagues to throw the ball to him more frequently and in the appropriate places.
Gabriel Jesus has netted 19 goals in 56 games across all competitions since securing a £45 million move from Manchester City to the Emirates Stadium.
Many will contend that he must be achieving those stats in only one season, let alone throughout all contests and 18 months.
In any case, Arsenal is still aiming to win the Premier League, and if they are unsuccessful in doing so, the striker controversy will resurface.
Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal
I’m a fan of Jesus, Yorke declared. He is such a talented player, in my opinion. They don’t seem to give him the ball enough or in the appropriate places, in my opinion.
“He performs all of his excellent job outside of hazardous areas. I believe they will need to put in a lot of effort to get the ball to him.
Arsenal’s defense
Though it would be fantastic if Arsenal could bring in a striker like Ivan Toney to help them score goals, their defense will ultimately be the deciding factor in the championship.
Together with Liverpool, the London team has the second-best defense in the Premier League this year, having let in just 22 goals in 23 games.
There is a good likelihood that the title will go to the Emirates if they can keep it up through the end of the season.
Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Martin Odegaard are among Arsenal’s goal-scorers, providing them with enough goals to win games.
Have they got the defense to hold fast? It turned out to be one of their major obstacles the previous season.
