However, Arsenal ultimately opted to leave him out of the team because they couldn’t risk his fitness for the trip to West Ham.
The reporter does point out that Smith Rowe might still play against Burnley on Saturday as Arsenal continues to keep an eye on his injury.
He is not anticipated to be sidelined for very long, even if Saturday’s game comes too soon for him.
Having Smith Rowe back to full fitness before the season’s business end will be a great boost for Arsenal.
