The Liverpool team returned to the training site after a few days off, and they were bolstered by the presence of three senior players who had missed the match on Saturday
The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp had to count his absences from the Burnley match due to illness, suspension, injury, and bereavement, which left him without several of his senior players.
Conor Bradley stayed in Northern Ireland as his father passed away tragically, while Alisson and Joe Gomez were ruled out due to sickness.
But on Tuesday, after the team returned from a few days off following their 3-1 triumph at Anfield, all three of them were photographed at the AXA Training Centre.
Bradley could stay “as long as he needs with his family,” as Klopp has been keen to emphasize, so there was no pressure on him to return to Liverpool in a specific amount of time.
However, the young player has returned to Liverpool and will train on Tuesday alongside the rest of the available group.
It’s unclear if players like Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring), Mohamed Salah (hamstring), Ryan Gravenberch (groyne), and Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) are included in that.
Gravenberch was visible in Liverpool’s social media post, however it’s still unclear if he’s well enough to play after experiencing a groins strain on Saturday.
However, the sightings of Bradley, Gomez, and Alisson are encouraging since Liverpool’s injury list has gotten longer again after first seeming to get shorter.
The Reds’ next game against Brentford is in four days, so Klopp has plenty of time to get his team ready and maybe add some new players. When the team practices outside later on Tuesday, we might hear more details.
