Even while Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and, to a lesser extent, Seth Rollins have been the main topics of conversation surrounding WrestleMania XL thus far, there is now some information regarding what could be in store for LA Knight at the event.
The current United States Champion Logan Paul and Knight were supposed to square off in this year’s Showcase of the Immortals, according to negotiations that Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select mentioned in a Q&A mailbag.
As Sapp stated when he was asked straight out if Knight vs. Paul would take place at WrestleMania XL:
“That was the strategy. That was considered at one point, but I’m not sure if that’s still the plan.”
That suggests that WWE was thinking of giving the Megastar a prominent role at the Granddaddy of Them All, even though it’s far from confirmation of his WrestleMania plans.
That will be LA Knight’s first-ever WrestleMania match, assuming he participates in WrestleMania XL. Before WrestleMania 39 on SmackDown, the former Million Dollar Champion participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
