Ahead of their impending March battle in Riyadh, Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou have recently showcased their amazing bodies.
On March 8th, Anthony Joshua will face Francis Ngannou in the ring. Both fighters have shown glimpses of their possible fight bodies.
Next month, the two will square off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the result might have a significant impact on both fighters’ futures. What would a loss mean for any fighter, especially Joshua who faces a man who has only had one professional fight under his belt, though? The winner will undoubtedly be in the running for a chance at heavyweight gold in the future.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, WBA, and IBF champion, is now on a three-fight winning streak and trying to regain title contention. In the meantime, Ngannou, a well-known figure in mixed martial arts, won the heavyweight title in the UFC before branching out into boxing. He has only fought twice in his professional boxing career.
The physiques of Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou
Both guys have made it clear how important they consider this battle to be. Joshua recently shared photos of himself on social media from his rigorous training camp in Harlow, where he was wearing all-black and appeared incredibly toned. Fans think that the threatening expression on his face, which goes well with the outfit, could cause problems for his adversary.
This might be a reaction to Ngannou, who revealed his training regimen for the Joshua bout a few weeks ago. The Cameroonian used Instagram to showcase his own amazing body while working out. He captioned his photo with the words “Work work work #JoshuaNgannou,” revealing to the public his rigorous training schedule.
Then he gave his admirers a unique glimpse into his devotion. Ngannou is pictured in the first position for a functional strength training activity called a “sled push,” in which a person pulls a weighted sled across a surface.
Ngannou’s boxing coach Dewey Cooper has stated that Ngannou fighting AJ won’t be the same Ngannou who lost to Tyson Fury in a contentious split decision.
I’m aware of the opinions expressed by boxing fans. Cooper told talkSPORT, “He caught Tyson Fury off guard; there was no way to study him. Anthony Joshua will be ready for him.”
“The one component they are forgetting is that was Francis Ngannou’s first boxing fight. In his first fight, he fought a 10-round fight against the best heavyweight in the world.
Do you not believe there will be a significant learning curve for him between his first and second 10-round fights? On March 8 in Saudi Arabia, that is exactly what you will witness—a better Ngannou.
Francis Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua undercard
On the undercard, fierce heavyweight Zhilei Zhang, who defeated Joe Joyce twice in the previous year to earn and keep the WBO interim title, will face off against New Zealand’s Joseph Parker, who shocked Deontay Wilder.
