After a challenging period at Manchester United, Jadon Sancho claims that the support he has received at Borussia Dortmund has enabled him to find his form again.
After a falling out with the United boss, the 24-year-old was shut out by Erik ten Hag last summer. He later departed the team on loan in January to rejoin his previous team, Dortmund.
Since returning to Germany, Sancho has had a mixed record. However, he has kept his best plays for the biggest stage of all—helping Dortmund advance to the Champions League final.
The English forward was asked what has changed for him since switching teams earlier in the year. The forward will be eager to prove a lot of his doubters wrong when he plays Real Madrid at Wembley this weekend.
He said to TNT Sports, “It’s a big family, everyone respects each other, everyone helps each other.” “As a young player, I particularly need this foundation, and the fans are extremely important.”
“The fans’ unwavering support gets me and the younger players motivated to give it their all in both good and bad times.”
He stated: “I always knew one day I would play in a game like this.”It’s almost unbelievable that, at the age of 24, I’m attending my first Champions League final in London. Though it hasn’t truly hit home yet, the occasion will begin to sink in when we travel to London.”
