Aaron Ramsdale, the goalkeeper for Arsenal, may move to Chelsea or Liverpool during the summer transfer window, according to Paul Robinson.
In order to provide Ramsdale more competition following the former Sheffield United goalkeeper’s impressive debut season, the Gunners manager added David Raya from Brentford during the summer transfer window.
And Arteta decided to bench Ramsdale in favor of Raya after just four Premier League games, and the Spaniard has been in the starting lineup ever since.
Due to this, there have been rumors that the England international may leave the Emirates Stadium this summer. Robinson, a former goalkeeper for Leeds, has stated that a move to Liverpool is possible.
Rumor has it that Liverpool may require a new goalkeeper in the summer due to links between Caoimhin Kelleher and other teams, and Saudi Arabia is showing a lot of interest in Alisson.
“I don’t think Aaron Ramsdale will move abroad, I think there’s a move for him in the Premier League,” Robinson stated to Football Insider.
Chelsea is the one that sticks out. Sanchez and Petrovic don’t seem to be performing at the level you desire. Chelsea are at that point.
“If you look at other Premier League teams, he would fit in with most of them.” With Pope there, I don’t see Newcastle happening. Is Brighton up for this?
“Kelleher has the chance to go and be a number one with Alisson if he leaves Liverpool.
“Considering how many games Kelleher has played this year in comparison to Ramsdale, there’s a chance for him to get more playing time and establish himself.
“Aaron Ramsdale needs to play and get somewhere.”
“At Arsenal, he has received tough treatment. I believe Arteta handled the matter incorrectly.
Furthermore, trade guru Fabrizio Romano has verified that Liverpool has been contacted by clubs regarding Alisson ahead of the summer transfer season.
“In the last few days, we heard rumors on Alisson and proposals from Saudi,” Romano posted on his YouTube page. I looked into that, and I was informed that there had been some attempts to ascertain the circumstances around the Brazilian goalie in March and April for Alisson.
“As of now, at the end of May, the response I received—and in the market, never say never—is that there was some interest, but Alisson is anticipated to remain at Liverpool.
“Liverpool has no intention of switching goalkeepers. They are ecstatic about Alisson, and Alisson is thrilled to be at Liverpool. Alisson is not expected to leave Liverpool for Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window since he is not in a financial hurry to change.
