Michael Olise has been linked with Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Man City and Newcastle United.
The fact that Michael Olise is in high demand is hardly surprising.
Before the summer transfer market opens, there are a lot of possible suitors for the Crystal Palace winger. Olise made just 14 Premier League starts in the 2023–24 season, although he scored 10 goals and registered six assists.
Even though he had hamstring problems, he was on fire once Selhurst Park manager Oliver Glasner succeeded Roy Hodgson in February, leading Palace to a 10th-place finish in the standings.
Before he committed his future to the Eagles by signing a new deal, Olise was the target of interest from Chelsea in the summer of last year. But a number of clubs are allegedly interested in signing the France young international.
One team rumoured to be interested in Olise is Liverpool. Chelsea is rumoured to have rekindled their interest in the 22-year-old, while other teams vying for his signing include Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.
There have been rumours that Chelsea is now in the lead to sign Olise. According to The Mirror, Liverpool has also made contact with the former Reading player, but Stamford Bridge has taken the lead in trying to sign him. According to reports, Palace is requesting between £60 and £70 million for Olise, who has a 2027 contract.
With one more year left on his current contract, Mo Salah may find a long-term replacement in Olise. However, Liverpool might have one advantage over Manchester United, Newcastle, and Chelsea.
This is due to a report from The Telegraph suggesting that Olise might have a release clause that only Champions League teams might activate. Liverpool, who placed third in the Premier League the previous season, is getting ready to rejoin Europe’s top club competition.
On the other hand, Chelsea will participate in the Europa Conference League. They finished in sixth place, but Manchester United’s FA Cup victory qualified them into the Europa League.
