The customary pre-match press conference before Arsenal’s match against Manchester City will not be hosted by Mikel Arteta. This Sunday afternoon (4.30 pm) is the much-awaited Premier League match between two teams that are once again expected to fight for the championship.
After four games, Arsenal sits two points behind the all-star team that is the defending champions, City, who have a perfect record. Arsenal has 10 points so far this season.
Arsenal plays Atalanta in the Champions League on Thursday night before hosting City. Before heading back to England to get ready for this weekend’s tantalising matchup against City, the Gunners will make the trip to Bergamo to play the winners of the Europa League from last season.
There won’t be the customary pre-match press conference before the City encounter due to the relatively short turnaround time between those games and the fact that Arsenal is returning to north London early on Friday morning. However, it doesn’t imply Arteta won’t communicate with us.
