Teenage right-back Bradley, who has played in 52 games and has contributed seven goals and six assists, was unquestionably the Reds’ star loanee this season.
His assistance on the right side was crucial in helping Bolton win the Papa John’s Trophy and advance to the League One playoffs.
By placing fifth in League One, Ian Evatt’s team earned a spot in the playoff semifinal versus Barnsley, which culminated on Friday night after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
Unfortunately, Barnsley won on aggregate 2-1 and will now play Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley in the championship game.
Bradley, who is already scheduled to begin preseason training with the Liverpool first squad in July, posted a farewell message to his loan team on Instagram.
He wrote, “Thank you for giving me my first taste of men’s football, it will be something I’m forever grateful for!”
“Playing for Bolton Wanderers has been a huge honour, and it’s regrettable that it ended the way it did.
“I’ve created lifelong friends and unforgettable memories.
Bradley arrived at Bolton with only five senior matches under his belt with Liverpool, but he quickly adjusted and much exceeded expectations.
The Greater Manchester club had intended to keep his services for the upcoming year, but after failing to gain promotion to the Championship, doing so is now all but impossible.
Bradley’s future with Jurgen Klopp’s team and whether he will stay there or go out on another loan, possibly to the Championship or even lower in the Premier League, is still up in the air.
However, the 19-year-old’s time at Bolton was certainly essential to him as a player and a person.
