According to rumours, Manchester City has no plans to approve the transfer of Julian Alvarez to Bayern Munich.
The Munich-based publication Tz has revealed this information after claiming on Wednesday that the $14 million (Manchester Evening News) guy was “not considered unsellable.”
However, it appears like Julian Alvarez and Manchester City won’t be splitting ways, which puts Bayern Munich’s hopes of a trade to rest.
Manchester City will not approve the sale of Julian Alvarez to Bayern
Since joining Pep Guardiola’s team, the World Cup champion has been a revelation, scoring an astounding 17 goals across all competitions, and that too in few starts.
So much so that it appears to be the consensus that Alvarez would start for the majority of Premier League teams.
There is ‘no chance’ that Julian Alvarez leaves Manchester City, according to speculation, while Bayern is obviously interested in signing him.
Furthermore, the club and Pep Guardiola greatly regard the young player, which almost eliminates his chances of moving to Bavaria.
The Sky Blues’ future is Julian Alvarez.
While Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, and Ilkay Gundogan are in their 30s, players like John Stones, Nathan Ake, Jack Grealish, Aymeric Laporte, and Bernardo Silva are currently in their late 20s.
Because of this, if Manchester City allowed a player of his calibre to sign for Bayern, it would be the biggest transfer shock imaginable.
The club’s future core is projected to consist of players like the Argentine, Erling Haaland (22), Phil Foden (22), and Rico Lewis (18).
Given that each and every one of these players is performing at a high level, it would be strange for the club to choose to sell any of them on their own volition.
Alvarez’s sale never looked likely, given that City frequently employ long-term strategies.
