French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly now interested in the player after previously having links to Spanish powerhouse Barcelona.
Due to their persistent financial problems, Barcelona probably won’t be able to afford to sign Silva this summer.
Silva’s current City contract, which he renewed in 2019, runs through 2027.
