According to reports from South America, Nahuel Bustos, a striker for Manchester City, will permanently leave the organisation.
According to an exclusive revelation by Argentine writer Cesar Luis Merlo, Talleres purchased the 24-year-old.
The operation is allegedly “closed,” and the athlete will sign a three-year contract.
The amount Tallares will pay Manchester City under the permanent contract is unknown.
The player began his career with the Argentine club, and in 2020, he was traded for €6.5 million to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
He was a member of Manchester City for three years, although he never really got the chance to play for the team.
He was on loan to Girona for the first two seasons. After a brief stint with the Brazilian club So Paulo, he transferred to Talleres in January of that year.
With seven goals in 15 games, Bustos is having a respectable stint at the Argentine club, so it’s not surprising they pushed to sign him on a permanent basis. His Transfermarkt valuation is €3 million, and we’ll soon find out how much this transaction will cost.
