Fans now have some knowledge of how Declan Rice is adjusting to life with his new teammates thanks to Kieran Tierney.
Rice moved from West Ham to Arsenal earlier this month in a deal valued at over £100 million.
Since then, the midfielder has participated in his first two matches for the team, winning 5-0 against the MLS All-Stars and losing 2-0 to Manchester United.
Declan remarked the other day that he feels like it’s been so long, according to Tierney, who was speaking with The Athletic.
They are such a close-knit group with fantastic teammates and personnel, so I believe everyone is enjoying the new signings.
Tierney continued, “It’s not really up to me (my future),” in response to speculation regarding his future. I’m content since I put in a lot of effort every day and get noticed. Simply said, I’m doing the best I can.
You cannot play in every game, every season, or every year. I don’t anticipate that, and despite that, I made numerous appearances last year. In every game, I was prepared and gave it my all.
“I think everyone in there would agree with that, that whether I’m playing or not, I never contribute less than that.”
