After the team’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United, Gabriel Jesus was all praise for teammate Gabriel Magalhaes of Arsenal.
Correspondentes Premier, who sent the update via X, was listening to Jesus as he spoke.
Jesus said that during the game, Gabriel moved exceptionally well, something that other spectators would have missed.
Gabriel, he added, was a strong defender overall and would triumph in the side matches.
“Magalhaes’ movement was amazing,” said Jesus. I don’t believe anyone is aware of that.
He had a great mind. He is an excellent defender, and little things like these make a difference.
Jesus is, of course, complimenting Gabriel after the 25-year-old’s unexpected appearance on the replacement bench.
Many people have expressed concern over Mikel Arteta’s decision to bench Gabriel in recent matches.
However, with Gabriel back in the lineup, Arsenal’s back four did once more appear to be a reliable unit, much like they were last year.
And it appears that Jesus wants his fellow countryman to be a part of every Arsenal starting lineup.
Gabriel Martinelli, according to Jesus, was outstanding for Arsenal yesterday.
Jesus, of course, had a fantastic cameo appearance for the Gunners yesterday.
Jesus scored Arsenal’s third goal with wonderful poise, and upon returning from injury, he barely shown any rust.
Another Arsenal Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli, went on to call Jesus one of the best strikers in the world following his performance.
Going into the international break, it certainly seems as though everything is going well at the Emirates.
And there is a fantastic illustration of how razor-thin the lines are in football.
Before they went on to score two goals of their own, Arsenal was millimeters away from Alejandro Garnacho’s goal not being called offside.
If United’s second goal had stood today, the post-game response might have been slightly different.
Nevertheless, Jesus and Arsenal can now enjoy their victory, and Gabriel will undoubtedly appreciate what his striker had to say.
