Orkan Kokcu of Feyenoord and the other midfielders with whom Liverpool is linked are both targets for the Reds.
The Reds are nearing an agreement to sign Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, and negotiations to sign Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram are also thought to be advanced.
The Feyenoord standout Kokcu is a player the Reds would also like to sign, claims Football Transfers.
Liverpool is eager to sign Kokcu Orkun
According to Football Transfers,, Kokcu is still a player that Jurgen Klopp and FSG have prioritised highly.
The catch is that Liverpool will have to rely on Jorg Schmadtke, the organization’s new sporting director, to close the deal for Klopp.
This past season, Kokcu was one of the Eredivisie’s top players. Arne Slot was strongly rumoured to be moving to Tottenham, therefore it was expected that he would follow his manager to North London.
Any dreams Tottenham had of signing Kokcu appear to be dashed now that Slot has decided to remain in Holland.
Liverpool is therefore aiming to take advantage of the opportunity and approach Kokcu. Even though deals for Thuram and Mac Allister seem to be getting closer, Klopp still wants the midfielder.
A good player for any English team.
Orkan Kokcu, who helped Feyenoord win the Dutch championship this past season, appears to be getting better every year.
He does appear to be highly prepared to advance in his work. Naturally, Liverpool would represent a significant improvement in both quality and standards.
But there shouldn’t be many concerns given that he led Feyenoord during the previous campaign.
