Fans online have complimented Alejandro Garnacho, a star for Manchester United, for his tenacity. The Argentinean player came off the bench as his nation defeated Indonesia 2-0 on Monday. And throughout the game, he executed a crunching tackle that brought to mind a youthful Wayne Rooney.
Garnacho was added for the final 30 minutes as Argentina easily won.
The 18-year-old also couldn’t help but make a brutal tackle during the brawl, slashing down Asnawi Mangkualam after being knocked to the ground himself.
Garnacho was fortunate to stay clear of any sort of card.
Additionally, the United youngster has been praised online by fans for his tenacity.
“That was like Wazza,” remarked @TenHagBall_.
@Mufc_AS said, “Picture if Sancho had this spirit of battle.
@CantonasCoIIar said, “Garnacho is him man, I can feel his passion.”
@loneUtd said, “Every time he’s on the ball, five players come straight at him.
Imagine Bruno being attacked like that; he’d be whining as the opposing team launches a counterattack, said @Ht4211. “That’s that South American spirit,” added @Ht4211.
According to @TheCzechLad, “Bro is the dog; he doesn’t have the dog in him.”
Simply put, @TenHagsArmRest said: “Love the aggression.”
Garnacho, who made his debut for Argentina last week, was playing in just his second game for that nation.
After his summer vacation is complete, he will be focused on helping United improve on their third-place result under Erik ten Hag the following season.
Juan Sebastian Veron, a former United player, has disclosed he spoke with Javier Mascherano about Garnacho.
And the former Red Devil asserted that they both believe the United star may reach great heights in the years to come.
“I spoke to Javier Mascherano, and he fully expects him [Garnacho] to become a star,” Veron said to Gambling Zone.
At that age, playing for Manchester United is difficult, but I believe he needs to have patience.
He needs to put in a lot of effort since he could end up being a regular player for a very successful team.
“I really trust Mascherano’s words, so for him to say he is the best young talent in Argentina is a really big compliment. But it just shows his undeniable quality, and I am sure he is someone who has a big future.”
Emiliano Martinez, the custodian for Aston Villa, also predicted that Garnacho would succeed Angel Di Maria.
