According to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (page 2), Manchester United will acquire Inter Milan custodian Andre Onana within the following 72 hours.
Over the course of several days, the Red Devils and the Nerazzurri have been in negotiations, and they are currently nearing an agreement to sign Onana.
The club has made several unsuccessful bids for the former Ajax star, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, a trade may be completed in just 72 hours.
A third offer from United, at €50 million plus add-ons, is being prepared and is expected to be accepted.
Following Onana’s move to Old Trafford, the San Siro team intends to recruit either Yann Sommer of Bayern or Anatoliy Trubin of Shakhtar on Thursday.
