On a day that has so far been filled with bad news, Fabrizio Romano has brought some good news to Chelsea supporters this afternoon.
Wesley Fofana, a crucial center back for the Blues, underwent surgery for an ACL injury today, and fans now know they will be without him for several months.
Of course, this is bad news for Wesley and for everyone else connected to Chelsea. We hope he recovers quickly.

However, despite how cruel it is to phrase it that way, it might be good news for another center back. Levi Colwill, though, should have more chances to play in games as a result, and Fabrizio Romano had some exciting news about him this afternoon.
Colwill has undoubtedly been the subject of numerous reports over his likely departure from Chelsea this summer, but Romano has tweeted that he is “100% staying” at Chelsea.
We are certainly delighted by this, therefore let’s hope we can quickly sign him to a new contract!
Chelsea position on Levi Colwill was the same during the last two months: not for sale. Not available for any other club. ⛔️
After Fofana injury, the message from Chelsea is exactly the same and even stronger. He’s 100% staying. 🔵
