Even though Mohamed Salah didn’t score for Liverpool this past weekend, he still grabbed the majority of the attention following Liverpool’s draw with Chelsea.
When Jurgen Klopp replaced Salah at Stamford Bridge, the Egyptian player did not do a good job of concealing his rage, and it appeared that things between Salah and his coach were not going well.
As usual, this entire episode was examined and discussed in great detail after the game. Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Nigel Reo-Coker has now stated that Salah may decide to depart for Saudi Arabia as a result of this incident.
Salah might leave
Reo-Coker and Adam Crafton of The Athletic talked about the £35 million player.
“I find it hard to believe that this transcends beyond this game. You have a brief tantrum before moving on, right? stated Crafton.
“No, Adam, not unless the Saudi Pro League calls him—you never know. After seeing that reaction, he might get another call. Never rule anything out when it comes to footballers, Reo-Coker advised.
Don’t be ridiculous.
Reo-Coker must have been speaking with his tongue firmly in his cheek when making these remarks, as this proposal is completely absurd.
Salah is a Liverpool legend and one of Klopp’s most reliable players; he won’t desert the team due to a single substitution.
Salah may be a little irritated, but he won’t leave the club he loves so much because of such a minor issue.
Next week, Salah will rejoin the club, and before you know it, he’ll be scoring goals once more.
