According to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports, Arsenal and Monaco are apparently close to verbally agreeing to a deal for Folarin Balogun.
An official offer appears to be imminent for the 22-year-old USA international, who impressed while playing on loan for Reims in Ligue 1 last season. It now appears that he will be returning to the French top division.
Details from Sheth via his official Twitter account are listed below.

Since Balogun appears to already be a better alternative than Eddie Nketiah, some Arsenal supporters will undoubtedly be concerned about losing him.
Even yet, it’s obvious that the AFC is well-stocked in that position with Gabriel Jesus set to return from injury soon, so it could make sense to cash in on Balogun while he’s so in demand.
Fabrizio Romano expressed a similar opinion in his special column for CaughtOffside this morning when he discussed this deal.
