Victor Osimhen of Napoli is reportedly one of Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer targets, considering Kylian Mbappe’s intention to leave the team at the end of the current campaign.
According to reports that shook the football world this week, Mbappe has informed the PSG board that he plans to leave the team after the 2023–24 season.
Since then, Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid has been strongly rumored, forcing PSG to look elsewhere for elite replacements. Osimhen, who has emerged as one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, is one of them.
Football writer David Ornstein claims that Osimhen has been considered by PSG as a possible June replacement for Mbappe.
According to Ornstein, Victor Osimhen is highly considered by Paris Saint-Germain as a potential Kylian Mbappe replacement.
“PSG stepped up various negotiations in January to be ready for June and has been planning for a potential exit since the summer. The 25-year-old Napoli striker is a serious contender.
