Sofyan Amrabat was not included in Fiorentina’s roster for tonight’s Europa Conference League play-off match, which increased speculation that he will sign with Manchester United.
Due to rumors over his future, the Moroccan midfielder who was originally registered for Fiorentina’s trip to Rapid Vienna did not make the matchday roster.
The absence of Amrabat is reportedly being caused by him moving away, according to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, even though the official explanation has not been established.
Fiorentina is rumored to demand around £21 million in exchange for the United target.
Amrabat has also been mentioned in relation to Liverpool’s pursuit of additional midfielders. The player is rumored to desire a move to Old Trafford, though.
With Mason Mount out for several weeks with a hamstring injury, Erik ten Hag is allegedly eager to recruit a new midfielder, and United’s plans may have changed recently.
Despite interest from West Ham, Scott McTominay’s future may be linked to Mount’s dismissal; nonetheless, Amrabat’s presence may force the Scot toward the exit.
