Het Nieuwsblad claims that Chelsea will try to recruit Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge before the transfer deadline.
The 18-year-old was acquired by the Jupiler Pro League team in 2021 from the Norwegian team Stabaek Fotball, and since then he has made 44 appearances, primarily as a substitute.
He has played in eight games this season, accruing 533 minutes, and contributing one goal and two assists.
Chelsea is interested in the forward’s talent and profile and has made an offer of €30 million to sign him. The player and the Belgian club will decide what to do.
After a 2-2 draw on Thursday against CA Osasuna, Club Brugge has advanced to the Europa Conference League group stage. Before Nusa came off the bench in the 71st minute and made the difference, they were behind by two goals.
Het Nieuwsblad claims that despite the player’s importance, Club Brugge will explore a trade if Chelsea meets their ‘insane requirements,’ but the Norwegian U19 international’s openness to the transfer is “questionable.”
The transfer deadline in England shuts at 11 p.m. today, so Nusa and Club Brugge must decide swiftly.
