Sofyan Amrabat, a midfielder for Manchester United, shared a photo of himself at the exclusive Carrington training facility.
Last Friday, on the final day for summer transfers, the Moroccan international loaned out to the Red Devils from Fiorentina.
Man United has the option to make the agreement permanent, which is what is anticipated to happen if all goes according to plan.
Amrabat was unable to make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday because he failed to register by Friday at noon, but Sergio Reguilon, another summer acquisition, was named to the matchday squad.
On Friday, the left-back from Spain’s national team, Tottenham Hotspur, also joined on loan. He posted a photo of himself and the 27-year-old on Instagram.
Amrabat has not yet appeared for Manchester United this season, but he participated in preseason training with Fiorentina, and on September 16, when they meet Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford in their first match following the current international break, he is anticipated to be available.
A slight back ailment was discovered by the Red Devils medical staff during his physical, but the agreement was nevertheless finalized because the back problem was not deemed to be serious at the time.
He suffered back problems at the World Cup the previous year and had painkiller shots to play against Spain in the round of 16.
That shouldn’t be a problem, though, as Amrabat has been selected for the Moroccan team’s two matches against Liberia and Burkina Faso.
The Atlas Lions face Liberia on Saturday (September 9) in Agadir, Morocco before facing Burkina Faso three days later on September 12 in France.
Although it is unclear whether the former Utrecht midfielder will travel with his international teammates, the fact that he was named to the roster indicates that he is healthy and available to play.
