The Scotland skipper developed the issue while serving with his country, and the club has determined that surgery is the best course of action.
“There is a little bit there, I think the decision is we go towards surgery,” manager Jurgen Klopp stated.
There is a remote possibility that we may attempt without, but after speaking with nearly all experts, it appears like surgery will be the best option, especially in the long run, which means he will be out for some time.
“I don’t know how long, but it involves shoulder surgery, so it won’t be quick.
