The talkSPORT host will not be able to watch Fury’s Saturday night crossover fight with former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In light of Jordan’s remarks made after Fury’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk ended in controversy in March, Shane Fury, the ‘The Gyspy King”s brother, recently declared that his family will no longer allow Jordan access.
On Monday, Shane informed Boxing King Media that “talkSPORT and Simon Jordan will never have anything to do with Tyson again.”
“The largest fight in history is about to take place, and he may have had 100,000 views for some absolute nonsense he uttered. He won’t be working with Tyson, but I’m sure he’ll do something else.
On the talkBOXING podcast, the former chairman of Crystal Palace listened to a brief segment of Shane discussing his suspension before answering.
“I understand that we, talkSPORT as a whole, are persona non grata during Fury-Ngannou week. Jordan declared, “We are not wanted.

We’re suddenly prohibited! I also really wanted to attend the Ngannou fight.
“I’m dissatisfied. “talKSPORT are going to be banned,” said Shane Fury. If that’s what you want to do, then okay. I can be excluded from a conflict I didn’t wish to participate in.
“I’m certain they’ll turn it into a weapon and declare, ‘We’re going to do it when we battle Usyk as well.’
“If you want to reject one of the biggest broadcasters who is actually pro-boxing and pro-Tyson Fury and who has spent the last two to three years having even you [Spencer Oliver] and Johnny Nelson sit in the studio sniveling about the fact that you thought Anthony Joshua would defeat Fury,” Johnny Nelson said.
Jordan acknowledges that he was incorrect to doubt Fury’s intention to face Usyk, but he maintains that the response to his remarks was overly dramatic.
But he’s right to pick me up, he said, because I did make a point that they could use as a weapon. I felt that if he skipped Uysk, it would be disgraceful.
“I did [employ the incorrect word] because I know Tyson Fury ain’t ducking anybody, as I’ve maintained since then.
“I do believe he might be challenging to work with. He does, in my opinion, have very clear ideas about what he is entitled to, which can sometimes make it challenging to pick battles.
“However, I don’t believe he ducks anyone. Therefore, if I accidentally mentioned it in a chat, “Okay, you can use that against me.”
“I don’t understand why people start sobbing the instant someone says anything they don’t like in a sport when you guys are so brave and strong and achieve things that most people couldn’t even imagine.
Hopefully, things will improve and people will once more be cordial and friendly.
