De Gea made reference to the rumors of his return when he posted the “quizzical” expression.
Though he is a free agent, the Spaniard is still without a club, therefore it is unclear whether he will make an incredible comeback to the northwest.
When Ten Hag meets with the media on Friday ahead of Sunday’s match against Manchester City, he may be questioned about De Gea.
