Conor Gallagher, Cole Palmer, and Chelsea as a team are all getting better.

Adrian Clarke, a former midfielder for Arsenal, recently discussed the contribution of the two and Chelsea’s improvement in his Talking Tactics piece on the official Premier League website.
In Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Clarke’s former team, Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher both got off to starts, with the former managing to register a goal.
Palmer, 21, said recently that Mauricio Pochettino just informed him a day prior to the game that he would be playing there. Palmer started the game as a false nine.
Conor Gallagher, Chelsea, and Cole Palmer are all becoming better.
What Clarke has been seeing lately from Palmer, Gallagher, and Chelsea has impressed him.
He stated: “There has been a noticeable improvement in Chelsea’s play during October, having scored eight goals in their last three matches” in his Talking Tactics blog on the official Premier League website.
“Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher, who have both improved performance levels with their combined industry and quality on the ball, are at the core of that upturn in form.”
Unstoppable Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher
Palmer and Gallagher are currently among the first names listed on the team sheet. On Saturday, Chelsea plays Brentford in another London derby, therefore neither player is likely to be rested.
They must, however, remain alert since Chelsea has a very talented team.
At least one of Palmer or Gallagher may be in danger once Christopher Nkunku is fully recovered.
Romeo Lavia’s comeback might potentially provide issues for the latter. He cannot afford to let his performance standards to decline if he hopes to stay with Chelsea and the club.
However, Nkunku and Lavia’s comeback is not expected anytime soon. Palmer and Gallagher, for example, have some breathing room, but now is not the moment for them to become lazy or complacent.
Chelsea needs every player to be at the top of their game since they have a lot of work to do to qualify for the Champions League.
