Since joining the team in July, Dominik Szoboszlai has dominated Liverpool, and in one area, the Hungarian is already the best player for the Reds.

The quickest player from each top-flight team so far this season, as revealed by Sky Sports Premier League, was the midfielder at Anfield, who makes £120,000 per week. He achieved the highest speed of 36.76 km/h during the 3-1 victory against Wolves in September (Liverpool Echo).
That ranked him third overall, behind Luton’s Chiedozie Ogbene, who set a league record with a stunning 36.93 km/h sprint.
Szoboszlai’s incredible sprint pace is further demonstrated by the fact that throughout the previous two seasons, it has already surpassed the quickest runs by Liverpool players.
Last season, Darwin Nunez set the record at Anfield with a speed of 36.53 km/h, while Mo Salah was the fastest player for the Reds in 2021–2022 with a speed of 36.6 km/h (Liverpool Echo).
The 23-year-old is LFC’s ultimate speed merchant this season, and while the numbers may be mind-boggling, it is not surprising given his lightning-fast footwork. At 1.2 successful dribbles per game, he leads the team in this season’s average thus far (WhoScored).
The unsettling part is that, should the season conclude, we wouldn’t rule out Szoboszlai surpassing his own record. Take out the speed cameras!
