According to reports, John Cena had arm surgery recently.
Shortly after concluding his most recent stint with WWE at Crown Jewel 2023, the severally titled World Champion praised Dr. Jeff Dugas on X/Twitter for mending one of his arms, adding that it will now be going to rehab.
Interestingly, the Hollywood icon also disclosed in this post from yesterday that he would meet Dugas and the Birmingham team “ASAP for the next one,” implying that Super Cena may need another arm operation.
Because of the actors’ strike that was still in effect at the time, Cena was able to make several appearances on WWE programmes starting in September. He frequently appeared on SmackDown and made appearances on Payback, Fastlane, and Crown Jewel PLEs.
But with the strike having now come to a conclusion, it appears like Cena’s most recent stint with WWE is officially ended. After Fastlane, the celebrity said (via F4WOnline) that if the strike ended, “I’d put a lot of people in the movie business out of business,” which meant he would have to give up wrestling once more.
It appears that Cena’s time with WWE is over for the time being.
Thank you @JeffDugasMD and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!
