When Arsenal gets ready to play again in the Premier League, starting with a London derby against Brentford, they could benefit from the return of two important injuries.
The Gunners, who had recovered from their contentious opening Premier League defeat of the year at Newcastle with back-to-back victories over Sevilla and Burnley, were in excellent shape going into the November international break. However, of late, they have been plagued by persistent injuries.
However, as Arsenal approaches a pivotal moment in the season and a busy match run ahead of the usually congested festive schedule, there are indications that those problems are finally beginning to lessen.
Here is the most recent information about injuries at Arsenal.
Gabriel Jesus
After hamstring straining during the Champions League victory against Sevilla on October 24, Gabriel Jesus has not appeared on the pitch for either club or nation.
He was pulled out of the trip to Colombia last week despite having been called up to the Brazil squad. However, he has already resumed full training and may start Tuesday night’s home World Cup qualifier against bitter rivals Argentina.
Jesus should be able to make his Arsenal comeback against Brentford on Saturday afternoon at the Gtech Community Stadium if he survives that match.

Martin Odegaard
Martin Odegaard, like Jesus, may be added back into Arsenal’s starting lineup for their Saturday matchup with Brentford.
The captain of the Gunners, an important player, made a comeback from a hip injury sustained against West Ham in the Carabao Cup at the beginning of the month, but he missed the next three matches due to an undisclosed issue.
Afterwards, it came to light that Odegaard had been placed in the concussion protocol following a ball strike to the face during a workout.
He was left off of Norway’s roster for their last Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Scotland and the Faroe Islands, but national team manager Stale Solbakken thinks he is getting close to being available once more.
“I recently had a 45-minute conversation with Martin,” Solbakken stated on Sunday. “He is improving steadily and making small steps forward.
Since there hasn’t been any specific training for almost three weeks, it’s critical to go cautiously. He and Arsenal most likely hope he is fit for the Brentford game.”

Thomas Partey
Due to a persistent injury fight, Thomas Partey has only made one appearance for Arsenal since August. He most recently had surgery for a “significant” thigh issue.
Prior to the victory over Burnley, Arteta stated, “I said that hopefully it’s going to be weeks and not months and he’s working towards that.”
“He needs assistance. He’s a key member of our team, so hopefully the injury heals properly and he returns.”
Possible date of return: January 2024
Jorginho
Because to Odegaard and Partey’s injuries, Jorginho filled in admirably for Arsenal in the middle of the pitch.
After sustaining a terrible gash to his head in the final moments of the match against Burnley, there was some uncertainty about his health, but on Friday, he joined Italy and kicked off the team’s vital 5-2 victory over North Macedonia in Rome.
