Novak Djokovic of Serbia will undoubtedly remain atop the ATP Ranking for at least another year, till the US Open in 2024.

The 36-year-old had a great end to 2023 after defeating the youthful Jannik Sinner in the ATP Finals in Turin, winning 6-3, 6-3. Djokovic is now expected to hold the top ranking for at least the first Grand Slam of the year following that victory.
The Serbian native has 11,245 points in the live rankings. Alcaraz, on the other side, has 8,855 live ranking points and is ranked second.
Having won up to 24 Grand Slam championships, Djokovic is sometimes considered the best player in the history of men’s singles tennis during the Open era. In the end, the current world champion won three of the four major championships in 2023.
His lone Grand Slam loss of the year came against Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final, where the Spaniard prevailed in a gripping five sets, 1-6, 7-6(8–6), 6-3, 6–4.
Other than that, Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev to win the US Open, Casper Ruud to win the French Open, and Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the Australian Open.
