Arsenal is rumoured to be scouting Santos striker Marcos Leonardo, who might be available for £20 million in January.

That is the claim made by 90 Min, which also states that other Premier League teams, including Arsenal, are interested in the forward.
In January, Mikel Arteta is anticipated to add more alternatives to his offensive line in an effort to bring a league championship to Emirates Stadium.
Although Gabriel Jesus has struggled with a few injuries this season, he has played well while he has been available. Eddie Nketiah has done a good job filling in for Jesus, but it’s no secret that Arsenal lacks a consistent goal scorer.
The Gunners have been closely associated with players such as Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen. However, they also have Marcos Leonardo on their list of desired strikers.
The 20-year-old, who has had a fantastic season with Santos, appears to be the next big thing to come out of Brazil. In 45 appearances for the Brazilian team, he has scored 21 goals.
Leonardo has scored seven goals in as many games for Brazil’s U23 team, demonstrating his prolific scoring ability.
It would be unexpected, though, if Arsenal decided to take a chance on the “dangerous” young player rather than sign a proven striker.
As they attempt to unseat Manchester City, it seems like the appropriate time for Arteta’s team to make a statement and add a goal scorer with elite experience.
