Sofyan Amrabat insists the Red Devils squad remains united
Ten Hag has faced accusations that he has lost up to half of the United dressing room, something the manager has categorically refuted. However, on Wednesday night, there was little indication of dissent as United easily defeated Chelsea 2-1.
Amrabat clarified following the game that Ten Hag has a lot of internal backing.
Amrabat remarked to beIN Sports, “He is an incredible coach.” Naturally, I had the pleasure of working with him a number of years prior, and even then, he was an excellent manager. Now though, he’s among the greatest in the world. He has more expertise. Everywhere he went, he did an amazing job.
“He’s a fantastic coach and we are all behind him.”
Ten Hag congratulated his team for maintaining composure before the game and winning three points that they earned.
“It hasn’t felt like a crisis for us,” the manager of United emphasised. “We have maintained our composure, improved the procedure, and identified the areas and foundations on which to build.
“We are making progress, we don’t let negative feedback from others derail us, we hold ourselves to a high standard, and we always strive for improvement.
“If we make mistakes, we want to correct them and want to carry on with the process. The season is lengthy, and success will require significant improvement, but this team is capable of that.”
