Kostas Tsimikas has shared a pictorial update of Thiago Alcantara’s ongoing recovery.
Ever since the season began, Thiago has been sidelined by injuries. The Spaniard is still sidelined, despite hopes that a comeback is imminent.
Tsimikas, who has an injury of his own from a terrible collision with Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka ten days ago, has taken to Instagram to share Thiago’s current activities at the AXA Training Centre.
The duo from Liverpool sat on exercise equipment in the selfie that was posted on Tsimikas’ stories, and they appear content and at ease. With a big smile on his face, Thiago greets the camera with one hand holding a drinks flask and the other open.
Tsimikas tags his teammate with a love heart emoji, displaying an equally happy expression. The Greek is shown in the picture without a shirt on, and severe bruises are visible around his shoulders and chest. Hurt.
While it is frustrating that Thiago is still working with the injured group, it is good to see the two of them together.
Thiago is still getting better.
This would imply that Thiago hasn’t returned to team training yet, however we can’t be positive based just on an image.
That might not come as a shock. It will likely be the New Year before we see the thirty-two-year-old again, as Jurgen Klopp has previously acknowledged.
Given that 2024 is just three days old, we might still need to exercise patience.
That Thiago will ever wear a Liverpool shirt again seems improbable at this stage. His history of injuries has been really upsetting. But we most certainly will. It will be his time.
Additionally, Klopp has mentioned being cautious when it comes to the former Barcelona player’s health. It’s admirable that the Reds are exercising caution and not rushing him back.
This season, it may be all the difference if we can get him onto the field for ten or fifteen games. Let’s hope that comes to pass.
for Tsimikas, we have not yet received a timeline for his problem. You would have to presume that it would take some time, though, considering that Liverpool brought back left-back Owen Beck yesterday.
I wish them both the best of success during their recuperation and hope to see them back on the pitch in May.
