Jurrien Timber, Thomas Partey, and Gabriel Jesus will travel to Dubai with Arteta’s Arsenal squad as a trio of injured players continues their recovery.
For a week, Arsenal left London to fly to Dubai for a combination of business, relaxation, and training.
A portion of the players took to the skies following Sunday’s FA Cup loss to Liverpool, with the rest departing on Tuesday.
Arsenal released the following statement: “The squad will have the opportunity to work closely together ahead of the second half of the campaign as we have travelled to Dubai on a regular basis over the past few years during the cold British winters to seek warm weather training conditions.
Before we play Crystal Palace again on Saturday, January 20, the team will engage in a number of activations with club partners, such as Emirates, adidas, Sobha Realty, and TCL, in addition to a plethora of training sessions in warmer climates.”
In order to prepare for Saturday, January 20, when they play Crystal Palace in the London derby at the Emirates, the team will reconvene on January 17.
