United’s Quest: Identifying Antony Replacement Spurs Transfer Duel with Arsenal
After joining Manchester United from Ajax last season, Antony has proven to be a huge failure, so it’s not surprising that the Red Devils are now worried about their right-hand side options.
Sports Lens writer Dean Jones reports that Olise, a highly-rated 22-year-old who has been making waves in the Premier League, is being seriously pursued by United, but other teams are also interested in the player.
With his Premier League experience under his belt, the Frenchman might be the perfect addition to help United progress in the upcoming season and might be less of a risk than the purchase of Antony turned out to be.
Even though Antony appeared to have intriguing potential while playing in the Eredivisie, English football has proven to be a major step up for him, therefore it’s likely that MUFC will soon be looking to upgrade.
Though it’s less clear where Olise would fit in there given that Bukayo Saka has made that position on the right of the Gunners’ attack his own for the foreseeable future, Olise might potentially be a great fit for Arsenal.
