“They’ll discover soon”… Chelsea may have a talented 18-year-old potential in their midst, according to Noni Madueke
The star player for the Blues, Noni Madueke, says as much.
Who will be the next to come off the Cobham Blues academy’s manufacturing line? For several decades, the academy has been producing future stars.
Tyrique George, a Chelsea prospect who turned 18 earlier this month, is starting to establish himself at the youth level.
He produced an incredible goal on Thursday to help the Blues Under-18s team advance to the FA Youth Cup quarterfinals after they defeated Crystal Palace.
This season, the talented winger has scored frequently for the U18s. In addition, he plays minutes for the Under-21 team.
The English young player should soon make his first-team debut, hopefully.
George posted something on Instagram following further success with the U18s.
Fascinatingly, Noni Madueke and Carney Chukwuemeka of Chelsea’s first team replied in the comments section.
Madueke, in particular, seems to be projecting a bright future for George.
Look out for Tyrique George
George had previously gotten notice from the senior team of the Blues.
In November, Reece James, the captain of Chelsea, spoke with the talented 18-year-old George.
“I was the little kid that used to come over and train with the first team,” James said to George. Champ, keep up the good work. Everything is conceivable.
Under this ownership, the Stamford Bridge team has witnessed such a radical transformation in the previous few years, but it’s critical to maintain opportunities for Chelsea’s budding talent.
