This legendary player and manager from Real Madrid is willing to take a managerial position with Bayern Munich.
Plenty of great players and managers have called Real Madrid home. The best example of this in recent memory is Zinedine Zidane. The atmosphere in the football capital has frequently been applauded bringing back club stars to coach.
In his prime, the French superstar had a ball wrecking the middle. Since then, he has taken on two more terms as the club manager, the most significant of which was his first. He captured the Champions League three times in a row, demonstrating Los Blancos’ hegemony over the rest of Europe at the time.
Except for Real Madrid, Zidane has never managed a different team, but this could soon change. Zidane has been connected to the Bayern Munich position recently, as current manager Thomas Tuchel is treading carefully and suffering with form. Jose Mourinho and Xabi Alonso, two more Real Madrid greats, are slated to open for Bayern with Zidane.
Zinedine Zidane is interested in managing Bayern Munich.
Zinedine Zidane is amenable to going back into management, per a Sport report, in order to take the Bayern Munich position. Though they are still adamant about remaining with Thomas Tuchel, it is unclear if the Bavarian side will accept his offer.
Given Bayern Munich’s prominence in Europe, it is simple to picture Zinedine Zidane leading the team. Since they usually win the Bundesliga, it goes without saying that they also have a strong presence in Germany. Now that Bayer Leverkusen has passed them this year, they simply need someone to put them back on the correct track.
Zinedine Zidane is in high demand at all times. With all that he accomplished with Real Madrid in a short amount of time, it is unsettling to consider what a long-term manager like him could accomplish. Whether he decides to rejoin Bayern Munich’s managerial staff will be interesting to watch.
