Alexis Mac Allister discussed his goals with the team prior to Liverpool’s Carabao Cup final matchup with Chelsea.
“The World Cup made me realise how much I wanted to win more trophies, and this Sunday is a great chance to do so.” That’s what I signed up for the club for,” he remarked.
“It will be very special for me and the team because it will be my first final with Liverpool.”
The Reds are going through a busy period leading up to the final due to several injuries and a full schedule.
“We have had a lot of games, and Luton [on Wednesday night] was a big one, so we haven’t been thinking about the final much. But now that it’s here, we can think about it and get ready,” Mac Allister stated.
However, he is dedicated to winning the Cup for the team and already senses a unique bond with the supporters.
He remarked, “It is crazy because I really felt a connection from the first day here that I have not felt at any other club.”
It was about the time it took to settle at the other clubs. I had excellent assistance from the individuals here from the very first day. I truly enjoy being here, and I feel a strong connection to the club and its supporters. It is among the largest clubs on the planet. Hopefully, I’ll be here for a long time.
